Sir Ken Robinson on education

Wednesday, January 2nd, 2008

A typical review of this talk goes along the lines: If you have not yet seen Sir Ken Robinson’s TED talk, please stop whatever you’re doing and watch it now.

I can no more then agree, he really brings up important points, about most western educations systems.

One more interesting TED talk.

Children of Men

Children of MenThis movie gives a believable picture of a Britain of two worlds, a almost normal one, run by a very strict and controlling government (more so then now i mean) and a one that have collapses in to total anarchy.

Good action, well make actions scenes and a nice, some times very witty, script.

Hens Tooth

Morlands Hens ToothMorlands Hens Tooth

Pours with a big head that dissipates slowly, a nice amber body sits under the head.

Aroma of hops, yeast, and some fruit and spices.

The sweet malty tastes all but cancels outs the bitter hop, but at the same time both are still present. It finishes with dry hop, light bitterness.

A bit to much carbonation for my taste, but not a bad beer.

St. Bernardus Pater 6St. Bernardus Pater 6

December 12, 2007 at Bishops arms in Gävle, 330 ml bottle.

Pours deep amber with a tan head that laces beautifully.

Aroma of fruits and calramel with malt mixed in and some hints of chocolate.

The taste are much the same as the aroma, fruity and sweet with chocolate lurking in the background.

While not as superb as its big brothers, but still a very nice beer.

Jämtlands HellJämtlands Hell

November 7, 2007 at Bishops arms in Gävle, 500 ml bottle.

Pours cloudy amber with a head that laces nicely.

Not much aroma at first, but it gets better increasingly more hops and straw.

Sweet malt to start of with the bitterness from the hops following up big time. Finishing with semi dry bitterness.

A nice beer, if only the other Swedish lagers could be this good.
